Sounding like an Orchestra ?Like strings. No Flutes. You never forget the first time you hear a Mellotron. Then a ghostly haunting wail. The Theremin. Accompanied by a '30's style piano riff that sounds like the sort of stuff your Gran would listen to.It's not long before you've picked up the hook, you're whistling the melody, and you realise you've been seduced by the Technostalgic Tones of a Sundae Club track "As Old as the Industry"Several degrees cooler than Lemon Jelly, Sundae Club is truly a Wall's Neapolitan Brick of a band. It's Technostalgic Tones are available to download from the World Wide Web on a computer near you now. The creation of Dr. C.D. Mille and Hamstall Ridware, Sundae Club is proud to present sounds from some the oldest electronic instruments in use today. Some date back to the early part of the last century. As well as the usual collection of Minimoogs, WurliTzers, Rhodes etcetera, we are able to bring you genuine sounds of the Mellotron (Ridware's baby) and Theremin (Mille is a Virtual Virtuoso on the machine) |
